浜田庄司　作　柿釉赤絵丸紋鉢でございます。
 
大柄な鉢で裏の高台内以外に柿釉を全体にかけ焼成した後に蝋で白抜きした箇所に上絵付の赤絵を用いて模様を描いたものになっております。
三つの白抜きした箇所にはそれぞれ異なった赤絵の模様があり、一つ一つがシンプルで、どの向きに置いても楽しむことができる作品となっております。
また作品には鉢の縁などに柿釉の成分の一つである鉄分による柿釉内の黒い箇所があり、それらは焼成時にできるものであり、面白みがございます。
作風をみると1950年代に製作されたものとおもわれます。

Hamada was one of the Japanese potters in the idea of Art and Crafts.
This work is Bowl of round crests covered with persimmon iron glaze and was created in 1950s. It has each pattern on three white zones that was bleeched by a candle and other areas are covered with Persimmon glaze. The size is large and simple patterns and the color of persimmon glaze feels like rustic and retoro. This persimmon glaze work is popular in Hamada's works.
