無銘　金山　天地雁金透鐔でございます。
天地に(鐔の上下に)雁金を施しており、優雅に飛ぶ雁を思わせる作品となっています。
金山鐔は丸型、櫃穴は大きく角耳で耳の縁には"鉄骨"がありのが特徴です。この作品にも所々に鉄骨があり金山鐔の典型的な作風となっております。色は黒々としており、状態が良いものでございます。

Elegant openwork (Sukashi)Tsuba in Kanayama school with a design of Wild Geese (Karigane)in top and bottom.
As with Owari school, the kanayama is also popular in iron tsuba. Kanayama tsuba had been created through Muromachi period and had reputations of "iron colors" itself and naivety style.
Kanayama tsuba also has characteristics of both corners and tekkotsu in tuba's rims. Tekkotsu is a kind of runnel in the rims. This work has typical characteristics of the Kanayama school and
is in good condition.
